Essentially, what I am saying is, often some of the concepts we learn in science apply only to a small microcosm world..Sum of three angles of triangle being 180 cannot be held as a universal truth. It doesnt work in reality. It holds true only from a two dimensional perspective. I hope it clarifies..Thanks for your comments!Venkataramanhttp://www.venkinesis.innoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-38895577.post-2211479781046753852011-08-19T15:05:32.906+05:302011-08-19T15:05:32.906+05:30Venki.. this one got a little difficult for me. I remember PG saying somethings like these, but could you elaborate over, <br /><br />"I learned that mathematically it can be shown that if this is true, then the universe in which we live is infinite. If anyone can prove that the universe in which we live is finite (like a sphere), then the three angles of a triangle do not add up to 1800 – for the two are mathematically inconsistent with each other."<br /><br />I am sure it has got some meaning, however, unable to decipher.Satyam Gambhirnoreply@blogger.com
